How to Use This Website

You may have noticed that this is a redesigned website, launched in the fall of 2011. The National Docent Symposium Council (NDSC) wants to help docents stay better connected with one another and learn more about docent activities nationwide. We can't think of a better way to do this than through this website. Explore it by using the menus at the top or clicking on any of the features.

We think you are particularly going to like the Docent Forum, our new interactive site for docents to share ideas, post questions and respond to requests for information. Log in by clicking on the "Login Here" tab on the home page (it's easy, honest) and try it out. Before long, we believe others will join in and make this forum a valuable resource you will turn to again and again.

We expect that this interactive exchange will, in time, give voice to the changing needs and interests of docents and will prove pivotal in helping the NDSC to respond, and even get ahead of the curve, regarding education and information.

Please reach out to your regional directors who sit on the National Docent Symposium Council with questions and feedback on the website. As you get accustomed to using, tell us what is working and what you would like to see changed or added. Let us know what you would like to learn more about on the website and at our symposia. Share your innovative ideas and projects on the Docent Forum. Like docents everywhere, we are teaching and learning as we go. This is just the beginning.
