Harry S. Truman: Man from Independence

Visit the newly renovated presidential museum dedicated to Harry S. Truman, the 33rd President. We will be given a private tour through interactive exhibitions, covering his childhood and early life to the many difficult decisions he made during his presidency.

A recent KMBC 9 news story, Truman Library historian talks about complex US-Russia relations then and now, highlights the historical parallels between today and 70 years ago.  Click HERE to view the story.

From there we will lunch in the Historic Independence Square across from the Courthouse where he was Presiding Judge of Jackson County.
