The home has a built-in gallery displaying works by such artists as Amy Sherald, Titus Kaphar, Jeffrey Gibson and Simone Leigh and is designed with adequate space to exhibit large-installations. The diverse collection consists of a broad range of media, from traditional painting, drawing and photography to layered compositions of found, assembled materials and fiber arts, and represents a global contemporary perspective. Works from the owners’ collection are frequently loaned for public exhibition and have been shared with such institutions as the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art, Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art, the National Portrait Gallery as well as the Venice Biennale.
