Nat’l World War I Museum & Liberty Memorial

The afternoon will begin with a guided tour of the main galleries of the World War I Museum, the nation’s only public museum dedicated to World War I.

We will then proceed to Memory Hall to join an expert who will share information on the panoramic painting, Pantheon de la Guerre. This painting was completed in 1918 and was once considered the largest painting in the world.

Lastly, we will visit Liberty Memorial, a National Historic Landmark, for an architectural guided tour.  The 1921 Memorial’s dedication was the first time all 5 Allied leaders of World War I were together at once.
